DreamTime

The Naguals believe that in order to make changes in our waking life we must first change it within our dream life as our dream life is the more real of the two realities.

I’ve found much truth in this idea and continue making leaps in bounds in my waking life thanks to my deep exploration into the dream realms.

The good news is that there are many practices to facilitate evermore conscious and aware dream states in which we can accomplish deep transformation in the peace and quiet of our bedrooms and without the need for drugs (which can of course be tremendous aids as well).

I’ve always been a dreamer. I love the freedom of exploring boundless time and space with reckless abandon and living out my wildest fantasies in the safety and comfort of my sober bed.

It wasn’t always so free and easy though. Sure I was a born natural, yet I still had to study, train and practice to develop my skills to the point where I could become fully and completely conscious in deep dream-time.

I found the keys to my inner castle in “Lucid Dreaming – Gateway to the Inner Self” by Robert Wagoneer, which provided simple yet invaluable techniques for awakening in the dream to tune in to the deepest parts of myself for healing, exploration, and adventure.

Thanks to the cocktail of pharmaceuticals the shrinks dosed me with in High School (High for sure!) I found the veil had been thinned and I was granted easy access to the unknown.

They told me I got The Depression but really it’s just that people like me don’t do school.

Thankfully I found a bit of a Sangha in the well-behaved upright students who stood guard and appeased the teacher’s controlling needs enough for me to embrace my desk and disappear deep into dream; and with steadfast discipline, I did.

I’m very proud to have skipped, slept, and dreamt through the vast majority of my High School career which I dropped out of since my phone was ringing with clients who wanted to pay me well to detail their Porsche.

That school shit didn’t matter anyway; I still earned good enough grades to enjoy some Psychology classes at NOVA Community College and excelled enough to make it to GMU where I was totally bummed out and disillusioned by the poor quality of the expensive teachers as compared to my humble NOVA’s fine staff. I dropped out of GMU since my company Doctor Detail (which I dropped) was bringing me nearly as much money as a Doctor. I’m a drop-out.

What might you want to drop out of?

Consensus Reality? (I’ll never concede to that!)

If so, here are some Lucid Dreaming websites to help you do just that! 🙂 (Coming soon) (link)

And if drugs are your thing… (no judgement here), here are some perfectly legal plant allies which have catapulted me into terrifically strange and invaluable times and spaces. Be forewarned! It’s about to get wild.

The Oaxaca, Mexico native ‘Dream Herb’ (Calea Zacatechichi) is practically psychedelic. You probably won’t notice much from smoking or vaporizing this herb, but your dreams will take on a life of their own.

Though a tea may be even more powerful and preferred by non inhalers I’ve found it to be more bitter than Ayahuasca (which tastes like battery acid).

The taste of vaporized Dream Herb however is quite pleasant. I try to avoid smoking as vaporizing is more gentle on the lungs and doesn’t bring in all of that tar and gunk.

I’m excited about the prospering royal Mullein on my new land and look forward to producing tincture from it as it’s one of the most healing herbs for the respiratory system and treats ear infections. (Coming soon!)

I was once in a depression for a few solid months waking up every day in a down mood until I decided to smoke Dream Herb one night before bed as it had just arrived in the mail and I was excited to check it out.

There were no noticeable effects immediately after smoking Dream Herb, but my night was filled with fantastically vivid and lucid dreams in which I finally faced a persistent (lifelong) nightmare in which a Big Cat (Lion, Tiger, Panther or Jaguar) was hunting me and about to kill me.

Even though at first I shouted to my fellow dream beings, “Hey watch out everybody, there’s a Jaguar!” I was able to stand my ground strong and not be afraid of this magnificent Beast.

My fellow dreamers just stared at me like, what’s this guys deal?

It’s just a Jaguar; there’s nothing to fear.

And so I did not fear; even as the Jaguar pounced upon me and tore into my flesh and we merged into One.

“The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had.” – Mad World

And so I awoke in a happy mood with a smile on my face, excited for life. For the first time in months I started my day with positive momentum which catapulted me forwards into higher spirits.

Lucid Dreaming is an incredibly powerful and simple way for us to face our fears and plant allies can hold our hands through it. These herbs grant us the power and clarity to process fear and trauma in a way that just isn’t accessible through any other therapeutic process except perhaps Hypnosis or Holotropic Breathwork (which Stan Grof developed as a way to take people into LSD like states through sober rhythmic breathwork).

Still, Lucid Dreaming is really a realm unto its own and the more capable and clear you become the more you’ll see this clarity reflected in your waking life (since life is a hologram).

Mugwort is a fairly common plant which you could learn to identify, or you can buy some online. It’s always better to source wild foods and herbs locally if possible, it’s in everyone’s best interest.

Mugwort is energetically active so you do not need to ingest it in order to work with it. Simply place a small pouch of it under your pillow and its magic will start to seep into your dreams.

Be warned, even this method of working with our ally Mugwort is very powerful. I’ve often found myself waking up exhausted after a night of adventures far more intense than anything I experience in my waking life.

Of course you can also make a nice tea, vaporize, or smoke this herb.

My sister company Souly Sews plans to produce Dream Pillows with relaxing herbs like Lavender to help you set sail into the night. (Coming soon!) Dream Pillows are also very simple and fun DIY projects for the crafty folks.

Remarkable healing is possible when we are able to be fully awake and conscious in our dreams, especially when paired with medicines which help us identify the source of our blockages, and especially within a home that has a BioGeometry Environmental Home Solution installed.

Out of Body Experiences (OOBE’s):

OOBE’s are just as powerful and intense as Lucid Dreaming for exploring reality.

I believe that anyone can learn to travel outside their bodies to experience basically anything within any time and space.

The Monroe Institute (https://www.monroeinstitute.org/) was started by Dr. Robert Monroe after he began having spontaneous Out of Body Experiences and did not know what was ‘wrong’ with him until he figured out that these experiences are a natural part of evolving as a Human.

Monroe uses Hemi-Sync technology (basically binaural beats) as part of their learnable practices to help guide students to the still point (zero point) from which we can venture outside of time and space.

I’ve met someone who had a great experience communicating with his deceased family member at The Monroe Institute shortly after learning the practice.

OOBE’s can be a great method for “Mending The Past & Healing The Future With Soul Retrieval” a fascinating book by Alberto Villoldo along these same ‘lines’.

Robert Monroe. Interview by Guido Ferrari and Julie Mazo, 1992

“Robert Monroe was a pioneer of studies on consciousness. The interview is a rare document because he tells his evolution from out-of-body experiences to multidimensional travels.”

Another interesting person to look into is Thomas Campbell, a student of Dr. Monroe. Campbell developed and wrote “My Big Toe” (Theory Of Everything) which describes how life is a virtual reality.

Though I’ve found life to be a Dream I find his an interesting perspective whose ideas have certainly helped me make sense of my reality. Though at times repetitive his YouTube videos are a good place to be introduced to his theory.

Certainly no discussion of multidimensional reality is complete without mentioning the great Jurgen Ziewe.

I will say no more.
